Us Plus Baby.

My oh my! We have been keeping a secret for a long time! 11 weeks...long time! We are expecting our first little sweet pea come July. We are so ecstatic and can barely keep the smile off of our faces. We got to hear that sweet little heartbeat last Friday and it was pretty much amazing!That little sound really made this whole experience start to feel real. I can only expect it to become more real in the next couple of weeks when we pass some major milestones. Such as when I start to show (as of today, I just look like I overindulged at Christmas), those awesome little baby kicks, and finding out what this little sprout is. Right now all I can keep wondering if baby is going to be a mini me or a mini version of my love? However, I have to tell you the love we have for this baby already is pretty intense.

Anyways, I am so happy to share this news. We are so excited to welcome this little one to our world. Also, can't wait to introduce you!

Shipley & Halmos S/S 2011.

The other day I was reading an interview with the boys from Shipley & Halmos over at Refinery 29.  ( a really cute must read interview with BFF's of fashion!) However, back to the point...The point being that these lovelies went to the University of Colorado the same time I was there. Nuh-uh, you say? Yes...way!!!  This made me so happy to find out that they bonded over a keg stand in our happy lil' town of Boulder. Awesome! Plus, now amazing clothes are being designed because of this friendship. So winning!

The Mr. and I went to see Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros the other night down in Denver. The show was absolutely amazing! I mean, really beyond amazing. At one point the show brought me to tears. Tears of joy! If you have not seen them already, do yourself a favor and get to it. The energy is outta control. Hands down, one of the best shows I have ever seen.

PS...Oooh, the other highlight was a few of them were eating dinner where we ate before the show. Winning!

Happy 4th of July.

Happy 4th of July lovies! Ooooh, Ooooh, Oooh!! How I just love this summer holiday! This year is extra special because I am spending it with one of my best friends, her husband, new daughter, my husband and 4 musically talented boys. Longest Day of the Year.
