Thakoon A/W 2011.

I have to say, I think think this fall collection from Thakoon is my favorite to come out of NYFW so far this season. I am honestly having to restrain myself from posting all 33 looks.

WOW??? Right? He killed it with such beautiful vibrant colors. Starting with the red and royal and then moving onto that neon yellow and black. I am in bold color heaven.

Plus I am loving the diverseness of pattern, as well as his amazing ability to mix them. A huge plaid, paisley, a tribal floral batik, and  right into a substantial stripe. I die!

Thakoon also did an impressive job of mixing a very Marie Antoinette-esque feel with the bustles and puffed out hips into a tribal feel with the draping and prints.

Plus, I mean, who can really make a puffer jacket look so pretty and feminine?

I  wholeheartedly am in love with this collection. I think Lynn Yaeger states it best by saying, "it was charmingly unpretentious."
