Thakoon described his resort collection as "a parisian going to Africa." Going along with that his inspiration came from Malick Sidibé's 1960's portraits of West African youths. Malick's documentary style photography captures everything from the influence of rock and roll to the parisian life for these kids. Now take a looky at Thakoon's inspired pieces.
